About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create short-form social and founder-led video for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Produce product stories, demos, launches, podcasts, interviews, guest moments, longer-form video, carousels, graphics, motion graphics, animations, event content, and reactive content
  • Work with the founder, product, and GTM teams to turn ideas, conversations, products, customer wins, and AI/work trends into creative content
  • Shoot founder content, podcasts, interviews, events, and other required footage
  • Handle framing, lighting, and sound independently
  • Edit content with strong hooks, pacing, cuts, captions, and sound
  • Design carousels, graphics, thumbnails, product visuals, and social content within and beyond the brand
  • Make HowNow products, including Guru, interesting through compelling product moments
  • Develop recurring series, visual styles, and recognisable HowNow creative formats
  • Test content, measure reach, engagement, saves, shares, and follower growth, and use results to guide future work
  • Help shape social content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Convert high-performing organic content into paid-social-ready versions
  • Manage multiple projects and maintain a steady weekly production rhythm
  • Build HowNow’s distinctive creative style and expand audience reach
  • Produce content for L&D Disrupt that travels beyond full episodes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to take an idea from concept to finished piece independently
  • Excellent video shooting and editing skills using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
  • After Effects or similar for motion
  • Strong visual and design skills
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom or similar
  • Familiarity with Figma and Canva
  • Use of AI tools in creative workflows
  • Knowledge of what works on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, and how content should differ by platform
  • Clear point of view on quality, with ability to articulate why creators’ and brands’ work succeeds
  • Ability to connect creative work to results and explain performance and changes made
  • Curiosity about AI, technology, the world of work, and internet culture
  • Ability to move quickly with imperfect briefs and improve briefs when provided
  • Comfortable pitching ideas to founders, product, and sales, and taking feedback
  • A good few years making social content, in-house, agency-side, or on personal channels
  • B2B or learning tech experience is a bonus, not a requirement
  • Portfolio is more important than job title, degree, or years spent in B2B SaaS
