About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for product line management and contributing to business plans and growth strategies
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, and other internal teams for seamless execution of category plans
- Monitor KPIs and sales performance to identify areas for improvement
- Demonstrate understanding of product categories, business management, and sales challenges/strategies
- Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to understand needs, preferences, and pain points, translating insights into actionable improvements
- Build relationships and represent the team at a senior level with the sales force and other partners
- Manage product line and quotas for a significant share of the product range or a specific customer segment
- Oversee functional responsibilities including market analysis and marketing engagement
- Participate in partnership engagements with external IT vendors
- Impact multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader, providing direction and facilitating information validation and team decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
- Typically 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology, Analytics, Business Development, Business Strategies, Business To Business, Customer Relationship Management, Data Analysis, Digital Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Market Research, Marketing, Marketing Strategies, New Product Development, Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Strategy, Project Management, Thought Leadership, and Value Propositions
