About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Applies developed subject matter expertise to solve common and complex business challenges within established guidelines
  • Recommends data-driven solutions and contributes to impactful decision-making
  • Participates in investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects
  • Creates plans, data collection and analysis procedures, and data insight visualizations for assigned projects
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations
  • Develops procedures with SMEs for collecting, recording, analyzing, and communicating data
  • Prepares literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and industry and scientific events
  • Creates patent applications and supporting documentation
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
  • Collaborates with peers, junior data scientists and engineers, SMEs, and research and product development partners
  • Participates in projects requiring data science engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 4-6 years’ experience including graduate or postgraduate research
  • Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, statistical concepts, and data validation techniques
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau to build dashboards and communicate insights effectively
  • Foundational knowledge of AI, including the ability to use AI-enabled tools to enhance data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making at different organizational levels
