About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead HP’s enterprise integration and AI architecture at global scale
  • Define long-term architecture vision and influence enterprise-wide technology decisions
  • Define and lead HP’s AI-first API strategy
  • Institutionalize the API-as-a-Product operating model
  • Own and enforce enterprise-wide API governance standards
  • Define and operationalize the AI-Ready API Framework
  • Enable HP’s Unified API & Agentic AI Strategy
  • Establish standards for event-driven architectures and MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • Orchestrate AI enablement across SAP, ServiceNow, Adobe, MuleSoft, and NOVA
  • Own enterprise AI/ML governance, including AI board reviews, privacy, risk, and cybersecurity compliance
  • Evaluate platform-native AI capabilities, tooling, vendors, and partner ecosystems
  • Lead cross-functional AI enablement initiatives and AI-driven SDLC adoption
  • Lead emerging technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and adoption paths
  • Lead EPS AI initiatives through AI/ML review board and cyber approval processes
  • Partner with Applied AI teams for knowledge sharing
  • Coach and mentor teams and technical communities
  • Improve reuse, reduce duplication, and strengthen governance through API-as-a-product discipline
  • Enable scalable enterprise-grade AI products
  • Advise executive leadership and represent HP externally with partners, customers, and industry forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, integration, and platform engineering
  • Proven track record defining and implementing enterprise integration strategies and API ecosystems at scale
  • Deep expertise in event-driven architectures, messaging, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience leading AI/ML enablement, governance, and platform integration in large enterprises
  • Strong understanding of SAP, ServiceNow, Adobe, and MuleSoft and their AI capabilities
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Experience mentoring senior architects and engineers
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typically 12+ years of work experience, preferably in software design and development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field
  • Programming Language/s Certification (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar) preferred
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology, AWS, APIs, automation, C++, DevOps, Docker, full stack development, Java, JavaScript, Kubernetes, microservices, Microsoft Azure, Python, React.js, scalability, software development, software engineering, and SQL
