About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the local Gaming Marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and priorities
- Own end-to-end marketing planning across annual and quarterly cycles
- Translate business goals into marketing plans supporting revenue, market share, and premium-mix ambitions
- Act as the central Gaming Marketing lead for the DACH market
- Use market data, consumer insights, social intelligence, and competitive analysis to inform strategy
- Build gaming brand positioning through culturally relevant marketing
- Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns across brand, performance, retail, e-commerce, and digital touchpoints
- Own go-to-market plans for gaming product launches and track performance
- Lead gaming events, esports programs, tournaments, and community activations
- Manage gaming sponsorships and partnerships
- Develop the DACH gaming social-channel strategy and lead content and community engagement
- Plan and manage creator and influencer programs
- Own gaming media strategy, campaign briefs, performance marketing, and optimization
- Partner with Retail Sales, Category, e-commerce, and other teams on commercial priorities
- Manage agencies and external partners, including scopes, timelines, budgets, and outcomes
- Own gaming marketing budget planning, tracking, and financial discipline
- Define success measures and report on awareness, engagement, traffic, conversion, revenue contribution, and ROI
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in marketing within gaming, consumer electronics, or related industries
- Proven experience in gaming marketing, either within gaming brands, esports/publishers, or gaming-focused agencies
- Strong understanding of gaming audiences and proven ability to engage them through relevant marketing approaches
- Hands-on experience working with creator/influencer-led marketing programs
- Experience leading integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Solid business acumen with experience contributing to revenue and commercial targets
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments
- Experience managing agencies and external partners
- Strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem, community dynamics, and industry trends
- Experience running big gaming events (eg. gamescom)
- Experience in go-to-market planning for hardware or tech products
