About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell HP’s consumer PCs and accessories to 2nd-tier retail partners
  • Achieve revenue, profit margin, market share, sales target, and margin goals
  • Drive revenue and market share growth and execute category priorities
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans covering revenue, unit sales, promotions, in-store/online marketing, POP, and advertising
  • Manage and track account forecasts, sales performance, inventory, supply logistics, promotions, program execution/funding, and competitive landscape
  • Present product roadmaps and recommend in-store and online assortments
  • Negotiate and close deals, prospect for new business, and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead customer product planning presentation meetings
  • Collaborate with Channel Sales on roadmap strategy, product transitions, account financial portfolios, custom derivatives, and program funding
  • Build customer relationships through weekly calls and quarterly face-to-face meetings
  • Collaborate with teams to achieve common goals
  • Perform part-time analytics work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong consumer technology sales experience managing diverse retail accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing or Category Management in the consumer retail space
  • Exceptional sales leadership with proven track record of sales achievement success
  • Expert negotiation skills and ability to create strong business cases to secure account funding
  • Strategic sales approach and creative out-of-box thinking
  • Strong execution and planning skills
  • Proactive and results-driven sales approach
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Dynamic presentation and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Creative problem-solving ability
