About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Sales Compensation Reporting & Analytics function
- Deliver actionable insights, reporting solutions, and analytical support to Sales Compensation leadership and business stakeholders
- Oversee a team focused on data modeling, business intelligence, dashboard development, reporting automation, and analytics
- Advise Sales Compensation leadership by translating compensation and performance data into business insights
- Lead and develop reporting, analytics, and business intelligence professionals
- Establish team priorities, workloads, and development plans
- Drive best practices across reporting, data governance, and business intelligence processes
- Own the strategy and delivery of sales compensation reporting and analytics
- Provide insights into sales performance, compensation attainment, quota achievement, productivity, incentive effectiveness, and business trends
- Develop executive-level reporting packages, scorecards, and performance dashboards
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations with leadership
- Oversee data models and reporting architecture with data engineering and technology teams
- Lead Power BI dashboard and self-service reporting development
- Oversee ad hoc reporting requests and analytical projects
- Drive reporting automation and operational efficiency
- Serve as trusted advisor to Sales Compensation leadership, Finance, Sales Operations, and Business Leadership
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to executive audiences
- Support compensation planning and transformation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
- Typically 8+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, sales operations, sales compensation, or related functions
- Sales compensation reporting and performance analytics
- Power BI dashboard development and data visualization
- Data modeling and business intelligence best practices
- SQL and enterprise data warehouse environments
- Executive-level presentation and storytelling skills
- Financial and operational performance analysis
- Process improvement and reporting automation
- Previous people leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of incentive compensation management systems preferred
- Sales planning and sales operations experience preferred
- Power Platform ecosystem preferred
- Experience supporting large global sales organizations preferred
