About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead cross-disciplinary technical teams across Writing Systems, Mechanical Design, Electrical Engineering, and Program Management
- Lead development and commercialization of next-generation industrial printing presses
- Provide leadership across teams and foster accountability, innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement
- Drive alignment across R&D, Operations, Customer Assurance, Services, Marketing, and other functions
- Own and maintain product ownership strategies and vintage planning processes
- Define and drive technology roadmaps aligned with market needs, customer requirements, and business strategies
- Provide PMO governance and oversight for program execution, prioritization, risk management, resource allocation, and cross-functional alignment
- Serve as the primary leadership interface with MTD and integrate printhead, ink, and related technologies into products
- Develop workforce, capability, succession, and organizational planning strategies
- Partner with Marketing, Business Management, customers, and industry stakeholders on market and competitive insights
- Lead talent development, workforce planning, budgeting, deliverables, schedules, and operational execution
- Foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture
- Coach, mentor, manage performance, and build a leadership pipeline
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Influence stakeholders across R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Services, Customer Assurance, Finance, and Program Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering, science or appropriate relevant field and at least seven years of related experience
- Proven success and experience as a people manager
- Demonstrated leadership of technical teams and strong interpersonal skills
- Exemplary skills to collaborate with internal and external partners, and customers
- Competency for strategic planning and execution
- Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional, collaborative teams
- Ability to recruit and develop a strong team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working across geographies and culture
- Exceptional written and oral presentation capabilities for customer facing
- Excellent influencing, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills
- Passion for customers, commitment to deliver solutions that bring value to them
- Knowledge of industrial print markets with a good understanding of customer needs and trends
- Ability to travel 25%
