About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers
  • Coordinate, manage, and lead strategic development projects for a complex category or business unit
  • Define and drive vision, strategy, and processes for initiatives expanding the company into new markets and business lines
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to refine supply chain strategic goals and implement aligned plans
  • Monitor progress toward strategic goals and communicate updates to senior leadership and executives
  • Develop end-to-end business process migration strategies, tactics, project plans, and timelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, quality control, research, and marketing
  • Manage strategic supply chain models translating physical and financial flows into business processes
  • Implement product and services supply chains into company business systems
  • Analyze industry and market trends, competitors, growth opportunities, and internal performance
  • Identify supply chain and operations growth opportunities and develop business cases and financial models for investment decisions
  • Hire, set and monitor performance plans, coach, and support career development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field
  • Experience leading senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers
  • Experience with strategic development and strategic planning
  • Experience developing business process migration strategies
  • Experience with supply chain models and business systems
  • Experience conducting industry and market analysis
  • Experience developing business cases and financial models
  • Team hiring, performance planning, coaching, and career development experience
  • Cross-functional knowledge of procurement, logistics, manufacturing, quality control, research, and marketing
