About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently develop solutions for supply chain projects and manage complex issues
- Interpret data and leverage insights to optimize supply chain performance
- Own strategic supply chain projects from planning through execution
- Provide findings resulting from project execution
- Lead cross-functional project teams and provide mentoring and guidance
- Establish supply chain strategic plans, tactical implementation, and team objectives with peers and senior management
- Monitor and assess impactful supply chain trends with internal and external stakeholders
- Support creation of competitive supply chain strategies and ongoing competitive intelligence gathering
- Contribute to organizational strategies and long-term goals as an advisor to senior management
- Discuss high-level supply chain issues with business executives, including risk management and new growth opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
- Typically 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field
- In-depth supply chain and industry knowledge
- Ability to independently develop solutions for supply chain projects
- Ability to interpret data and develop recommendations
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams
- Ability to monitor and assess supply chain trends
- Ability to contribute to competitive supply chain strategies and competitive intelligence
- Ability to advise senior management on supply chain issues
