About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Presales Technical Consultant team
  • Drive technical sales strategy and execution across Enterprise and Small Enterprise accounts
  • Align closely with Account Executive Managers and Sales leadership
  • Coach and motivate Presales Technical Consultants
  • Develop and implement presales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Conduct regular training on current technologies
  • Collaborate with sales teams to assess customer requirements
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Build relationships with clients
  • Architect and validate technical solutions
  • Oversee proposals, RFP responses, and tender documentation
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with industry standards
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
  • Provide customer feedback to product teams
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and strategic meetings
  • Assign team members across opportunities and regions
  • Monitor travel, software, equipment, and training expenditures
  • Provide financial forecasts to leadership
  • Improve team performance through coaching, mentoring, and upskilling

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8–10 years of management experience in technical consulting, presales, or solution architecture
  • Proven experience leading technical teams in a sales or presales environment
  • Experience with budget management and financial forecasting
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and enterprise software
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise software
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and virtualization tools
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Ability to translate technical features into business benefits
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills for solution validation and proposal development
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Comfort with new technology and AI
  • Willingness to travel 25%
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
