About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Investigate, design, develop, execute, and implement data science projects
  • Generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property
  • Create plans, data collection and analysis procedures, and data insight visualizations
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on experiments and validations
  • Develop data collection, recording, analysis, and communication procedures with subject matter experts
  • Prepare literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and industry and scientific events
  • Create patent applications and supporting documentation
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
  • Collaborate with data analysts, junior data scientists, engineers, SMEs, and research and product development partners
  • Participate in projects requiring data science engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 4-6 years’ experience including graduate or postgraduate research
  • Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, statistical concepts, and data validation techniques
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Foundational knowledge of AI, including the ability to use AI-enabled tools to enhance data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making at different organizational levels
