About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the expert to partners regarding the organization’s products, services, promotions, and configurations
  • Develop and maintain account plans to promote sales growth in adherence to legal procedures and requirements
  • Lead and oversee complex contract negotiations
  • Transform potential leads into joint sales activities and manage the partner deal funnel while achieving or exceeding quotas
  • Recruit new partners and provide risk assessment and business rationale for organizational investments
  • Promote and incorporate the organization’s offerings into partners’ businesses and solutions
  • Engage in transactional and relationship selling while influencing a team of sales professionals
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development
  • Monitor partner performance against targets, analyze data, and provide insights to improve outcomes
  • Lead or provide expertise to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives
  • Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typically 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field
  • Expertise in account management, business development, business planning, B2B, channel sales, CRM, sales management, sales strategy, Salesforce, and related sales skills
  • Ability to manage complex contract negotiations
  • Ability to develop and maintain account plans
  • Ability to recruit partners and perform risk assessment and business rationale
  • Ability to analyze partner performance data and drive improvements
