About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop solutions using ABAP HCM and iFlows in SAP Integration Suite, including error handling, logging, reprocessing, and security
- Lead the technical analysis of integrations between SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM/ECP, and legacy systems
- Define the most appropriate technical approach, whether ABAP development, an iFlow, or a combination of both
- Prepare technical specifications and effort estimates for enhancements and new developments
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and the clean core concept
- Troubleshoot complex incidents in production environments across AMS support and project engagements
- Apply and continuously improve technical governance standards, including naming conventions, version control, value mapping, and code modularization
- Review the technical work of junior and mid-level professionals and support their development
- Mentor less experienced professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than 6 years of experience in ABAP development, with significant experience in ABAP HR (PA, OM, PT, and/or PY)
- Strong command of ABAP OO, enhancements, BAdIs, BAPIs, and IDocs
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, including iFlows, adapters (SuccessFactors, OData, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP, and IDoc), mappings, Groovy scripts, and monitoring
- Experience with SuccessFactors APIs (OData and Compound Employee API)
- Knowledge of SAP BTP architecture, Cloud Connector, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0 and certificates)
- Experience in projects and AMS support
- Advanced English proficiency
- Autonomy and a strong sense of ownership of delivered solutions
- Clear technical communication with clients and functional teams
- Willingness to mentor others and share knowledge
