About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, develop, and support HUBER Technology’s West Coast Service Hub
  • Provide leadership and resource management for the regional Service organization
  • Manage workforce planning, performance management, coaching, employee development, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives
  • Develop and execute regional strategies for lifecycle services, maintenance programs, spare parts, refurbishment solutions, and sustainable growth
  • Build relationships with customers, municipalities, consulting engineers, HUBER Sales Representatives, and market partners
  • Identify and develop Service and Aftermarket Sales opportunities based on customer needs and market potential
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of regional personnel
  • Plan and optimize resources based on workload, priorities, technician skillsets, customer requirements, and geographic coverage
  • Establish and improve service processes, workflows, and best practices
  • Coordinate communication among customers, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Service teams
  • Act as an escalation point for customer, technical, and operational matters
  • Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators
  • Drive continuous improvement using operational performance, business trends, and field feedback
  • Support budget planning, resource forecasting, and cost control
  • Represent HUBER as a trusted advisor during customer meetings, technical discussions, and regional business activities
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, internal standards, and ISO 9001:2015 processes
  • Provide direct and functional leadership for the West Coast Service organization and future regional support structure
  • Travel for customer visits, service and aftermarket sales activities, operational support, regional operations, strategic initiatives, training, and collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Service, Field Service Operations, Aftermarket, technical sales support, or related customer-facing industrial environments
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for team development, workforce planning, performance management, coaching, and organizational growth
  • Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, industrial systems, and service operations
  • Proven experience developing customer relationships and identifying Service and Aftermarket Sales opportunities, including lifecycle solutions, maintenance concepts, spare parts, and refurbishment initiatives
  • Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong business acumen with problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to build long-term professional relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work with ERP and other service management systems
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with initiative and accountability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) standards
  • Ability to travel within the United States as business needs require
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a current passport
  • Ability to pass pre-hire drug testing, random safety/drug testing, and a pre-hire background check
  • Completion of an I-9 form; Huber is an E-Verify Employer
  • Must keep inoculations current as recommended for worker safety
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and meet physical demands including standing, reaching, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and moving about the facility
  • Ability to provide or establish around-the-clock customer service as required
