About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with CAIO leadership and technical leads to track AI initiatives, literacy efforts, research spikes, and client-facing deliverables from conception to completion
  • Maintain and optimize team boards, backlogs, and milestone trackers using Microsoft Teams, Planner, SharePoint, and Jira
  • Facilitate day-to-day synchronization among stakeholders, remove roadblocks, and keep communication channels open
  • Gather metrics, synthesize project health indicators, and prepare status updates, executive summaries, and meeting readouts for leadership
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement lightweight efficiency solutions
  • Drive meetings and ensure action items are captured and followed through

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–4 years of professional experience in program operations, project management, business analysis, or a technical operating environment
  • Hands-on experience with agile project management tools, specifically Jira and Microsoft Teams, Planner, and SharePoint, to track workflows, epics, and tasks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to distill complex technical updates into clear insights for leadership and stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with shifting priorities
  • Genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, emerging technology, and impactful federal or enterprise missions
  • Preferred: Experience supporting Software Engineering, Data Science, or AI/ML teams
  • Preferred: Familiarity with federal contracting environments or SDVOSB operations
  • Preferred: Basic data analysis skills using Excel, Google Workspace, or lightweight BI dashboards
