About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as Finance’s product leader, deciding what to build, buy, or automate
Transform Finance operations through AI, automation, advanced analytics, technology, process redesign, and new organizational models
Set the multi-year Finance transformation roadmap and personally drive high-impact initiatives
Lead an approximately 20-person team across analytics engineering, ML engineering, program management, and finance systems support
Partner with core systems owners across the company
Evaluate, evolve, and own the Finance transformation roadmap
Set and track KPIs such as productivity, close speed, forecast accuracy, and insight quality
Identify and scale high-value AI and automation applications across Finance
Redesign end-to-end workflows and establish governance and human accountability for AI-enabled processes
Simplify and automate Finance activities across FP&A, P2P, Q2C, R2R, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Audit
Develop scalable tools and analytical products that provide predictive, actionable, and self-service insights
Set prioritization, governance, and accountability for major initiatives
Oversee cross-functional project teams, external consultants, and technology vendors
Assess future Finance roles and capabilities and develop talent strategies for technology-enabled work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Track record of leading finance transformation in a scaled technology company, including ERP/system change, process redesign, automation, and data modernization
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI and automation solutions in Finance
Practical fluency in AI, automation, and data, with judgment to turn them into business results and appropriate controls
Technical depth to engage with Machine Learning and Analytics Engineers
Strong working knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and public-company reporting processes
Proven ability to lead through influence across Finance, Engineering, and Data
Strong analytical, executive communication, and change-leadership skills
Comfort moving between strategy and hands-on execution
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA and/or CPA preferred
