About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support range selection with suppliers through sales, stock and performance analysis
  • Analyse customer demand, category performance and assortment to identify range gaps and opportunities
  • Create new SKUs and maintain accurate product and SKU master data
  • Review aged, slow-moving and underperforming stock and recommend actions to improve stock turn
  • Support management and maintenance of the Open to Buy (OTB)
  • Monitor inventory investment against budgets and flag risks or variances
  • Maintain forward sales and inventory forecasts using historical performance, seasonality, promotions and trading plans
  • Quantify forward and bulk order requirements to support availability while managing inventory risk
  • Support planning for trading periods, promotions, launches and supplier opportunities
  • Analyse sales, stock cover, sell-through and stock turn to identify replenishment and inventory opportunities
  • Support minimum stock levels, inventory settings, space planning and assortment planning across stores and channels
  • Recommend inventory requirements by SKU, category and location
  • Process supplier cost price changes and assess commercial and margin impacts
  • Monitor Was/Now and promotional pricing for Australian Consumer Law and company compliance
  • Prepare and distribute weekly Monday merchandise and planning reports
  • Maintain reporting across sales, stock, margin, aged inventory and planning KPIs
  • Highlight risks, opportunities and exceptions requiring action
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and continually improve reporting processes
  • Collaborate with Merchandise, Supply Chain, Technology, Finance, Ecommerce, Store and Supplier teams
  • Provide accurate data, disciplined inventory planning and timely commercial insights supporting profitable sales and better decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Philippines-based candidates
  • Previous experience in merchandise planning, allocation, buying administration or a similar retail analytical role
  • Experience within retail, ecommerce or consumer products preferred
  • Shopify experience highly regarded
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of retail sales, stock, margin, sell-through and stock turn metrics
  • Exposure to Open to Buy (OTB), forecasting or inventory planning highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to interpret data and translate analysis into practical recommendations
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple business functions
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound judgment calls with light guidance
  • Initiative and willingness to identify process improvements
  • Reliable and diligent when working remotely, with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Proactive communication and ability to build rapport within a close-knit team
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency, productivity and work quality
  • Availability for meetings and collaboration during core AEST or PHT business hours
  • Disclosure of existing ongoing roles or client work
