About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide specialized support to teams reporting to the Consumer Loan Servicing Group Manager
Assist with building procedures, processes, testing, and reporting for project implementation and business-as-usual processes
Act as a subject matter expert and perform assigned daily operational processes
Support new system and process implementation and workflow
Research specialized problems and take corrective action
Lead process improvement ideas and documentation
Partner with internal colleagues, mortgagors, investors, and vendors to identify resources, clarify ownership, determine next steps, and resolve issues
Establish and maintain working knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices for supported departments
Participate in creating and maintaining departmental procedures
Build test scripts and manage and implement testing and reporting of system enhancements
Independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities through completion
Document project needs, analyze and research needs and possible solutions, and identify technology and business solutions
Gather, document, and update business requirements
Review workflow process mapping
Develop business testing strategies and work with project members to execute test plans
Recommend preferred solutions and implement recommendations
Build cross-functional relationships to resolve issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or Equivalent
3 or more years mortgage banking or loan servicing experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Visio process mapping
MSP Experience
Proven leadership skills, including the ability to work well with others
Effective problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of loan operations and compliance/regulatory guidelines, including RESPA, TILA, Privacy, and Investor Guidelines
Ability to work independently with good time management and strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize and address multiple tasks
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
