About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve in a concierge role by servicing walk-in customers
- Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs
- Recommend appropriate deposit and other banking products and services
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues
- Educate customers on consumer deposit products
- Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through sales processes, follow-up programs, outbound calling, and referrals
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships
- Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 year customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales; military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role may qualify
- High School Diploma OR Bachelor’s Degree
- Cash handling skills preferred but not required
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services is a plus
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Huntington will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits
