About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain meaningful, hands-on experience aligned with the intern’s area of study
  • Participate in day-to-day responsibilities related to the assigned team
  • Contribute to meaningful finance and strategy projects and business initiatives
  • Support financial planning and analysis, treasury management, investor relations, accounting and controllership, tax, and corporate strategy activities
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis
  • Support shareholder communications and financial messaging
  • Gain exposure to liquidity, funding, capital management, tax reporting, compliance, planning, financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls
  • Help evaluate growth opportunities, market trends, and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in professional development sessions, leadership discussions, team projects, volunteer activities, and internal events
  • Partner directly with managers and teams while developing financial and strategic knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School graduate
  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university with at least one quarter/semester of school remaining after completion of the summer program
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred: coursework applicable to the area of business
  • Preferred: ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Preferred: sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions
  • Preferred: positive business presence with management and external personnel
  • Preferred: strong interest in banking as a career
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
