Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate directly with the assigned manager
Support organization and department initiatives
Provide recommendations to improve the department
Work independently and within a team
Participate in structured professional development sessions
Engage with Executive Leadership Team members and senior leaders
Contribute to a team project applying Huntington’s innovation framework to a business-relevant problem
Participate in volunteer activities and internal events
Contribute to projects and initiatives in areas including credit modernization, enterprise fraud, commercial business products, project support, data analysis, and process improvements/transformations
Participate in all HNB internship events

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School graduate
Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university with at least one quarter/semester of school remaining after the summer program
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Course(s) of study applicable to the area of business (preferred)
Relevant majors include Operations Management, Business Management, and Data Analytics (preferred)
Relevant coursework includes process improvement, data analysis, business principles, and customer understanding (preferred)
Some data-focused roles may require Python, SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel skills (preferred)
Strong interest in banking as a career (preferred)
