About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Market a full range of banking services to Small Business Administration (SBA) loan eligible businesses
- Self-source SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact, origination, and analysis
- Review financial statements and supporting documents
- Structure SBA loan proposals
- Complete initial analysis and prepare credit packages
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines, and organization policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
- A minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
- Business or Finance degree preferred
- SBA loan originating experience and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- PC and internet proficiency
- Must be in South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida
