About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for ServiceNow initiatives
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform and applications
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend adoption of new features
- Lead and mentor a scrum team of business analysts, developers, and testers
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Champion best practices in agile development, DevOps, and ITIL processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years in equivalent experience
- 8–12+ years of related experience in product ownership, project management, or service delivery management
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules and capabilities
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus
- ServiceNow certifications are a plus, including Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience performing the listed responsibilities, including creating scope documents and eliciting/documenting functional and non-functional requirements and use cases
- Demonstrable technical skills and ability to learn technology
- Strong organization and written and oral communication skills
- Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements and ask relevant questions to drill into details
- Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion
