About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial planning engagements for clients with a net worth of $1–10M
- Conduct discovery conversations to identify client goals, values, and financial objectives
- Develop, present, and review customized financial plans covering retirement, tax, estate, investment, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with internal wealth advisors on client relationship management and plan implementation
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to wealth advisors on financial planning best practices and discovery techniques
- Ensure financial plans meet compliance and regulatory requirements and reflect the firm’s planning philosophy
- Stay informed about industry trends, tax laws, and planning strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
- CFP® designation preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong coaching and presentation abilities
- Must meet compliance and regulatory requirements for financial plans
