About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, verify, and properly put away small parts and equipment accurately and on time
  • Unload inbound materials using a forklift
  • Review and report discrepancies and damaged items
  • Create inbound marker scan detail
  • Move materials to appropriate storage locations pending audit and verification
  • Audit shipments by scanning to visually verify products and quantities
  • Place items into stock based on primary stocking locations
  • Monitor, correct, and update items being put into stock
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions for labeling, packaging, securing, and storing materials
  • Perform startup safety checks on equipment each shift
  • Repack pallets and cartons and clean work areas
  • Maintain accurate, visible, and safely stored inventory
  • Follow additional job-related instructions and responsibilities requested by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 1-2 years' previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience
  • Forklift certification (stand up and sit down)
  • Working knowledge of current ERP system
  • Working knowledge of tablet & scanning system/equipment
  • Ability to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods of time
  • Frequently lifting and push/pull up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., with occasional overtime
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and use a PC daily
