About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Unload inbound materials using a forklift
- Review and report discrepancies and damaged items
- Create inbound marker scan detail
- Move materials to appropriate storage locations pending audit and verification
- Audit scanned items to verify product and quantities
- Place items into stock based on primary stocking locations
- Monitor, correct, and update items being put into stock
- Follow work instructions for labeling, packaging, securing, and storage of materials
- Perform startup safety checks on equipment at the start of every shift
- Repack pallets and cartons and maintain area cleanup
- Ensure inventory is visible, accurately counted, and safely stored
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1-2 years' previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience
- Forklift certification (stand up and sit down)
- Working knowledge of current ERP system
- Working knowledge of tablet & scanning system/equipment
- Ability to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods of time
- Frequently lifting and push/pull up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., with occasional overtime
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and on concrete floors for full shifts
