About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships, direction, coordination, and sales growth for North American Golf Key Accounts
  • Develop and grow Husqvarna Golf’s portfolio with top commercial golf-sector companies
  • Develop and grow robotic golf mower sales to the top 25 Key Multi-Course Operator/Management Companies and high-profile named accounts
  • Build long-term relationships with key industry players and leverage established industry contacts
  • Lead business-development strategy and execution among key accounts
  • Respond to urgent and sensitive customer issues
  • Develop account strategies, goals, and plans to drive growth in the Golf industry sector
  • Present programs, products, and value-based solutions to customers from the C-Suite to the field
  • Manage sales growth for Husqvarna’s robotic and professional products
  • Lead targeted market development in underserved, high-potential markets
  • Serve as primary contact and liaison with assigned national accounts and branch locations
  • Develop commercial programs, including fleet penetration
  • Develop and implement direct-account incentives and programs
  • Execute programs that maximize sales while upholding margins
  • Manage planning, call reporting, and customer interactions in the CRM daily
  • Develop and coordinate executive presentations and training seminars
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews against business plans and targets
  • Participate in national and regional industry trade shows and events
  • Demonstrate equipment and provide product-application learning opportunities
  • Perform other duties as directed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 10–15 years of high-performance selling experience in the golf industry required
  • Experience selling golf course maintenance equipment, irrigation, utility vehicles, or chemicals to golf course and/or sports turf operations preferred
  • Experience in National Account Management strongly preferred
  • Preferred experience working with accounts such as Troon, Invited, KemperSports, and Top 100 Golf course properties
  • Strong business acumen through job experience and education required
  • Aptitude and interest in learning extensive knowledge about outdoor power equipment and the industry
  • Microsoft Office experience required
  • Ability to learn and master in-house sales and customer-relations programs
  • Able and willing to work extended hours as required and up to 70% overnight travel
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
  • Sales capability, business acumen, problem-solving, presentation skills, and computer/software proficiency
