About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and lead the company’s entire revenue generation function across Sales and Marketing
- Develop, execute, and optimize sales and marketing strategies to generate qualified leads and drive sustainable revenue growth
- Own the full sales and marketing funnel from first client touchpoint through signed contracts and new client acquisition
- Audit existing sales and marketing operations, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and implement improvements
- Build scalable lead generation systems across SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, paid acquisition, and content marketing
- Improve lead qualification, sales processes, pipeline management, and conversion rates
- Personally lead strategic sales initiatives and high-value opportunities during the initial rebuild phase
- Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing Sales and Marketing teams
- Manage departmental budgets, hiring plans, resource allocation, and channel investment decisions
- Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting systems
- Monitor pipeline health, lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, revenue forecasts, and commercial performance
- Present performance reports, strategic recommendations, and revenue forecasts to Company Leadership
- Collaborate with the Service Department and cross-functional stakeholders on client expectations, onboarding, and long-term client success
- Identify market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives
- Research industry trends, competitor activity, ecommerce developments, and emerging marketing strategies
- Develop scalable processes, documentation, and operational frameworks
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to company strategy
- Support other departments with commercial insights and strategic initiatives
- Report directly to Company Leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience leading Sales, Marketing, or Revenue functions with direct ownership of commercial results
- Proven experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing Sales and Marketing teams
- Demonstrated ability to personally drive revenue growth and develop scalable commercial systems and processes
- Significant experience in a digital marketing agency or SaaS company serving ecommerce businesses (required)
- Proven success generating qualified leads through SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, content marketing, and other growth initiatives
- Strong sales experience with a track record of personally closing new business and managing high-value sales opportunities
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, lead qualification, conversion optimization, and revenue forecasting
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Experience managing departmental budgets, hiring, resource planning, and operational performance
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills for building high-performing remote teams
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills, accountability, responsiveness, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment
- Experience selling retention marketing services such as Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, or UGC services is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, ecommerce marketing technology, and the broader ecommerce ecosystem is highly desirable
- Existing relationships or network within the ecommerce or DTC industry is a strong advantage
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Availability and responsiveness during office hours, Mondays to Fridays between 3–6 PM BCN time
- Ability to consistently work 30–35 hours per week, approximately 140 hours per month
- Stable internet connection and laptop or desktop computer capable of attending virtual meetings
- Openness to constructive feedback and ability to provide effective coaching and feedback
