About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and lead the entire Sales and Marketing revenue-generation function
  • Develop, execute, and optimize the overall sales and marketing strategy
  • Own the funnel from first client touchpoint through signed contracts and new client acquisition
  • Audit existing operations, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and implement improvements
  • Build scalable lead-generation systems across SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, paid acquisition, content marketing, and other channels
  • Ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads supporting revenue targets
  • Optimize lead qualification, sales processes, pipeline management, and conversion rates
  • Personally lead strategic sales initiatives and high-value opportunities during the initial rebuild phase
  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing Sales and Marketing teams
  • Manage departmental budgets, hiring plans, resource allocation, and channel investments
  • Establish KPIs, performance metrics, reporting systems, and revenue forecasts
  • Monitor pipeline health, lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and commercial performance
  • Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to Company Leadership
  • Collaborate with the Service Department and cross-functional stakeholders on client expectations, onboarding, and long-term success
  • Identify market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity, ecommerce developments, and emerging marketing strategies
  • Develop scalable processes, documentation, and operational frameworks
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to company strategy
  • Directly report to Company Leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of experience leading Sales, Marketing, or Revenue functions with direct ownership of commercial results
  • Proven experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing Sales and Marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to personally drive revenue growth while developing scalable commercial systems and processes
  • Significant experience within a digital marketing agency or SaaS company serving ecommerce businesses (required)
  • Proven success generating qualified leads through SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, content marketing, and other growth initiatives
  • Proven track record of personally closing new business and managing high-value sales opportunities
  • Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, lead qualification, conversion optimization, and revenue forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience managing departmental budgets, hiring, resource planning, and operational performance
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills, accountability, responsiveness, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment
  • Must be available and responsive Mondays to Fridays between 3–6 PM BCN time
  • Must consistently work 30–35 hours per week (approximately 140 hours per month)
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a suitable laptop or desktop computer for virtual meetings
  • Must be open to receiving and providing constructive feedback
  • Experience selling retention marketing services such as Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, or UGC services is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, ecommerce marketing technology, and the broader ecommerce ecosystem is highly desirable
  • Existing ecommerce or DTC industry relationships are a strong advantage
  • Must possess strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
