About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage employee relations matters from intake through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up, thorough documentation, and appropriate closure
- Conduct workplace investigations
- Address performance concerns, workplace conduct, conflict, attendance, policy interpretation, organizational change, and other employee relations issues
- Advise and coach managers on performance management, including feedback, documentation, corrective action, and performance improvement plans
- Guide managers through employee separations and other employment actions, including documentation, process, communications, and risk considerations
- Develop and deliver practical guidance, resources, and training on employee relations, workplace conduct, and performance management
- Identify workplace trends and use employee relations data and exit interview insights to recommend ways to strengthen engagement and reduce risk
- Lead or contribute to special projects that support employee relations and organizational priorities
- Partner with Corporate HR Business Partners, leaders, managers, Legal, and other stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, HR Business Partnership, or related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters
- Deep knowledge of performance management, manager coaching, corrective action, and performance improvement plans
- Experience advising leaders and managers on workplace conduct, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and employment practices
- Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, HR Centers of Excellence, and other stakeholders on sensitive matters
- Microsoft Office required
- Experience with HR information systems and employee relations case management systems preferred
- Ability to analyze employee relations data and use trends to inform recommendations and solutions
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Professional certification in Human Resources, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, is a plus
