About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop strategic account plans to drive new revenue opportunities and market share growth across qualified Entertainment Accounts
  • Manage third-party entertainment accounts, including group and transient travel accounts
  • Develop and nurture long-term strategic global account relationships
  • Drive premium business and new customers to Hyatt’s portfolio of brands
  • Create and maintain account/action plans including quota targets, customer engagement, account revenue tactics, account reviews, promotions and B2B marketing opportunities
  • Support worldwide hotel sales needs based on agreed priorities and anticipated business levels
  • Collaborate with Hyatt Sales Force colleagues to retain and expand key accounts
  • Act as subject matter expert in the Entertainment segment and share market insights, trends and opportunities
  • Manage and attend Entertainment industry and Hyatt customer events
  • Coordinate internal resources around the Entertainment segment and engage field teams
  • Entertain customers based on business priorities
  • Conduct direct sales solicitation, telephone contact and written communications
  • Ensure sales contracts follow established policies and procedures
  • Monitor market developments and customer trends
  • Assist hotel representatives with customer engagement, sales calls, webinars and targeted events
  • Curate branded experiences for customer-facing events
  • Represent Hyatt at industry events as a brand ambassador
  • Assist new hotels in identifying and acquiring potential accounts
  • Organize and coordinate familiarization trips
  • Conduct product presentations for key accounts
  • Prepare monthly activities and production reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 8 years related industry experience in global or regional sales, or hotel leadership role
  • Has worked within hotel sales operations on property
  • Strong understanding of entertainment travel and a network of contacts
  • Excellent presentation and networking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices
  • MS Office, Lanyon, Reserve, Opera, Oracle and Envision preferred
  • Sales and/or operations roles in All inclusive, Luxury, full service and select service properties
  • Ability to travel and work off peak hours
  • Strong follow-up, organizational and leadership skills
  • Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced and relatively autonomous environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting virtually and in person
  • Ability to manage event budgets and annual T&E, Seminar and Tradeshow budgets
