About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive revenue generation for new hotel openings and conversions from accounts traditionally not deployed to the Hyatt Sales Force
  • Research and evaluate accounts with potential to produce across Hyatt brands, focusing on extended-stay and select-service segments
  • Identify and solicit new accounts in transient and group segments using internal and external tools
  • Leverage market analytics to target high-value accounts, longer stays, and multi-segment opportunities
  • Develop B2B customer relationships through presentations, networking events, and industry functions
  • Prepare and deliver introductory presentations to prospective accounts
  • Travel for in-market engagement, networking events, and sales blitzes; travel expected is 40%
  • Manage new accounts until turnover to the Hyatt Sales Force, National Sales Team is complete
  • Build, send, and close referrals across Americas and other regions as appropriate
  • Demonstrate commitment to Hyatt’s core values in all interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of hotel experience in the same field, industry, or other equivalent business/function role
  • Strong sales knowledge and business development experience within transient and extended stay segments within select service brands
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Sales, or Business required
  • Efficient with computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Envision experience
  • EAS experience
  • Agency 360 experience
  • Lanyon RFP Proficiency
  • LinkedIn Navigator proficiency
  • Openings/Conversions and multiple hotel and brand experience is a plus
