About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the Marketing strategy and related outcomes for an assigned portfolio of Essentials openings and conversions through the defined transition point
- Build and maintain the Marketing components of each Commercial Ramp Strategy Plan
- Define unique selling points, priority audiences, and segment-specific messaging
- Develop full-funnel Marketing and digital media plans from pre-opening through the first year of operations
- Develop and secure approval for hotel Marketing budgets and funding plans
- Translate approved strategies and budgets into briefs, launch plans, media investments, assets, tracking, and activation milestones
- Partner with Sales & Revenue Commercial Strategy and Performance Leads to align Marketing actions with segmentation, pricing, sales priorities, booking pace, performance, need periods, and conversion goals
- Lead hotel and owner/operator Marketing working sessions and provide recommendations on priorities and investments
- Establish hotel-level Marketing and digital KPIs
- Maintain weekly Risk to Ramp reporting and a monthly portfolio scorecard
- Optimize audiences, channel mix, investment, creative, messaging, offers, and timing using performance insights
- Manage structured transitions to Field Marketing with strategy, budgets, campaigns, assets, vendors, results, risks, learnings, and next actions documented and transferred
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of progressive experience in hospitality Marketing, commercial strategy, performance optimization, or a related multidisciplinary commercial role
- Strong digital Marketing acumen across paid search, email, social, programmatic media, metasearch, CRM, personalization, and performance measurement
- Experience developing and adjusting hotel-level Marketing or commercial strategies based on Brand positioning, market dynamics, segmentation, competitive performance, and demand patterns
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret hotel, market, campaign, and channel data; identify risk and opportunity; and translate insights into clear action
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills with hotel leaders, owners/operators, agencies, regional leaders, and global functional partners
- Ability to manage multiple hotels, budgets, launches, and competing priorities in a fast-paced, global, matrixed organization
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred
- Experience supporting a multi-property portfolio across both pre-opening and post-opening stages of the hotel ramp lifecycle is preferred
- Travel as required based on hotel openings, performance needs, owner/operator engagement, and portfolio priorities
