Hydra Host

Artificial Intelligence

• Build and manage a pipeline of candidate sites and AI Factory partners across North America
• Qualify sites based on power, time-to-energization, rack density, liquid-cooling readiness, fiber diversity and latency, and permitting risk
• Run technical and commercial due diligence on landlords, operators, and developers
• Make go/no-go recommendations aligned with customer demand and deployment roadmap
• Engage utilities and co-ops to secure load commitments and accelerate interconnection and energization
• Manage load studies, service agreements, and substation or transmission upgrade timelines
• Evaluate bridge and behind-the-meter power options
• Build relationships with fiber carriers, dark fiber providers, and network operators
• Secure diverse, high-capacity routes and negotiate connectivity agreements
• Own site delivery through operational readiness and customer handoff
• Drive construction firms, engineering partners, and integrators to meet power, cooling, network, and rack-ready milestones
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks, and critical-path dependencies across multiple sites
• Act as senior point of contact for site partners, utilities, builders, and local stakeholders
• Negotiate site, power, and connectivity agreements within delegated authority
• Lead executive-level conversations and coordinate with Sales and Customer teams
• Build a scalable site qualification and onboarding playbook
• Maintain pipeline, MW timelines, and partner-performance tracking
• Deliver executive reporting on readiness, risks, and forecasted capacity
• In the first 90 days, map the site pipeline and partner landscape, establish qualification tools, and advance at least two priority sites to go/no-go

Support Engineer

• Diagnose Linux server issues end to end, including boot and network boot failures, kernel and driver problems, filesystems, storage pressure, services, memory and CPU behavior, and instability
• Diagnose hardware failures using out-of-band management, sensor data, POST and boot errors, SMART data, and vendor diagnostics
• Isolate server-side network problems involving NICs, drivers, VLANs, addressing, routing, MTU, DNS, DHCP, bonding, link state, and packet captures
• Troubleshoot NVIDIA GPU servers, including GPU availability, thermal throttling, driver and VBIOS mismatch, PCIe, XID errors, and host-level conditions
• Separate hardware, OS, network, application, and configuration issues before escalation
• Own incidents through resolution or clean handoff, set severity by blast radius, and identify related tickets
• Escalate to engineering with evidence packs and participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Coordinate with data center partners on remote hands, reboots, cabling, optics checks, component replacement, and physical inspection
• Open and track hardware RMAs with OEMs through replacement and validate repaired or replaced equipment
• Maintain accurate asset records and support server turn-ups, migrations, and decommissions
• Communicate clear cause and timeline updates to technically sophisticated customers
• Write and improve runbooks, operational procedures, categories, and closure reasons
• Build Python, Bash, or similar scripts and tools for health checks, data collection, and routine operations
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, monitoring, alerting, and support workflow improvements
• Work a defined shift, participate in an escalation rotation, and provide written shift handoffs
