About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and industry expertise to the Sales team and customers throughout the pre-sales process
- Act as the technical point of contact on standard customer engagements
- Coordinate customer pre-sales meetings and determine technical requirements
- Work with development teams to support solution enhancements
- Create and present tailored demonstrations of proposed solutions to key customer stakeholders
- Apply best practices and solution strategy to support validation and buy-in
- Coordinate with global services to transition key information and ensure effective knowledge transfer
- Compose internal documentation reflecting solution strategy activity
- Provide thorough and timely technical responses to RFPs
- Identify opportunities to improve internal efficiencies
- Stay current on best practices and market trends
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events
- Collaborate with sales, services, and technical teams throughout the pre-sales process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties
- Technical sales experience required
- Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
- Knowledge of general software implementation methodologies
- Ability to create compelling, solutions-based demonstrations
- Ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies
- Ability to communicate with ease, clarity, and impact using a style appropriate to the subject and audience
- Ability to manage projects to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Up to 10% travel time required
- Passion for technology, emerging trends, and continuous learning, with particular interest in AI
- Commitment to growing expertise in enterprise software, pre-sales methodologies, and industry best practices
- Collaboration skills and ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and achieve consensus
- Experience identifying process improvements and contributing to pre-sales effectiveness
- Experience working with development teams on solution enhancements
- Ability to translate customer feedback and technical requirements into actionable input for product and engineering teams
- Experience participating in or supporting trade shows, conferences, or industry events
