About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the overall strategy for designated accounts and develop sales plans for existing and prospective accounts

  • Attend and contribute to trade shows and company marketing efforts
  • Educate and influence executives on future business and technical needs
  • Serve as an innovative thought leader and subject matter expert for the sales team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or significant equivalent experience
  • Significant experience as a Sales Account Manager in a complex technical environment
  • Proven track record of year-over-year sales generation success
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in sales, a relevant industry, or technology solutions
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices and market trends
  • Proficiency in opportunity management and account planning tools
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to engage executive-level stakeholders with discretion and tact
  • Exceptional negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to gain consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels
  • Up to 50% travel time required
  • Demonstrated experience operating as a trusted advisor to senior and executive-level leadership
  • Proven ability to leverage deep industry expertise to educate customers on the value of company solutions
  • Experience determining the viability of RFP requests and influencing the development of responses
