About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, maintain, operate, and enhance the Tanium platform
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support
Support technical teams in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities
Define and implement patch deployment strategies
Manage patching campaigns
Analyze incidents related to deployments
Develop automation scripts and industrialize recurring operations
Document procedures and participate in enhancement projects
Participate in technical committees and present security metrics
Provide recommendations and best practices for endpoint management
Proactively propose improvements to the environment
Depending on experience, contribute to project management, knowledge transfer, and pre-sales activities
Work on several projects for the same client and potentially become the client’s technical account lead
Support enterprise clients in operating, administering, and enhancing their endpoint management and security environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree from an engineering school or a university master’s degree specializing in information systems security
Strong knowledge of fundamentals including systems, networks, cryptography, and programming
Knowledge of Tanium, vulnerability management, patch management, and Windows and Linux administration
At least two years of proven production experience with Tanium, excluding internships and work-study programs
Self-sufficiency, rigor, analytical skills, ability to explain technical concepts clearly, and a strong customer-service orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team spirit and the ability to make proactive recommendations
Fluency in written and spoken English is required
Tanium Associate or Tanium Certified Operator certification, for example, is a plus
Experience in professional services or consulting is a plus
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards is a plus
