About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support for and operate network security infrastructures
  • Maintain infrastructures in operational and secure condition
  • Enhance and optimize the solutions under management
  • Diagnose and resolve complex incidents
  • Handle requests and changes, particularly traffic-flow openings
  • Improve the security level and maintain infrastructure compliance
  • Lead action plans and track significant incidents, problems, requests, and changes
  • Manage priorities and coordinate stakeholders
  • Monitor service commitments and SLAs
  • Produce and analyze operational KPIs
  • Monitor capacity and workload to anticipate requirements and saturation points
  • Coordinate topics with vendor and manufacturer support teams
  • Prepare and lead operational review meetings with clients
  • Contribute to service governance bodies
  • Identify risks, blockers, and areas for improvement, then track corrective actions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical aspects, organization, processes, and delivery quality
  • Work in coordination with the technical team, Business Unit management, and client contacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education in computer science, networking, or cybersecurity—ideally a Master’s degree or equivalent—or equivalent professional experience
  • Experienced professional, ideally with 5 years of experience in networking and network security
  • Significant experience in a support, operational maintenance, or managed services environment is highly valued
  • Experience working regularly with clients and the ability to progressively take responsibility for the operational management of a service
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and traffic-flow analysis
  • Expertise or significant experience with Palo Alto Networks and/or Fortinet
  • Experience in several of the following areas is highly valued: NDR (Vectra, Gatewatcher), DDI, Security Policy Management, monitoring, and compliance checking of network security rules
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle complex incidents in critical production environments
  • Proficiency with an ITSM tool and good knowledge of ITIL principles: Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management, as well as SLA management
  • Ability to create and maintain procedures, technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases
  • Ability to interact effectively with vendor and manufacturer support teams
  • Ability to build and monitor operational KPIs, lead action plans, analyze activity trends, and contribute to capacity planning
  • Professional English proficiency required
