About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the transformation of commercial performance reporting
- Develop new analytical capabilities within the Commercial team
- Deliver insights across the business to support dynamic decision-making and maximise performance
- Surface, interpret, and act on proactive performance data
- Articulate complex information into stories and outputs for audiences with varying seniority and experience
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers to ensure model accuracy
- Provide proactive, data-led insights across commercial areas
- Work with Contribution Management, Sales, and Operations to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analysis
- Develop intuitive real-time dashboards and visual tools with stakeholders and the Data & Analytics team
- Provide proactive insight to Contribution Management and the wider Commercial area to improve decision-making and grow IAG Cargo’s contribution
- Support ad hoc analysis requests and special projects
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting and business intelligence
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a commercial setting
- Advanced analytical ability
- Good understanding of how to build models in Excel or similar
- Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgement based on detailed analysis
- Ability to drive change identified from analysis and decisions
- Strong team player with energy and drive to achieve team objectives
- Understanding of the airfreight business is desirable
- Understanding of airfreight/logistics processes and data is desirable
