About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the trusted analytics advisor to Ibotta's strategic publisher partners
  • Own the analytics relationship with partner executives in collaboration with Strategic Partner Management
  • Build and own per-publisher and network-level scorecards and performance reporting
  • Align KPI definitions with Finance and Strategic Partner Management
  • Own analytical narratives for recurring publisher business reviews and deep dives
  • Design partner-facing tests and case studies
  • Build measurement models using partner data, including data clean rooms
  • Forecast publisher performance and track contractual commitments such as minimum guarantees
  • Size opportunities for new partner capabilities and prospective publishers
  • Analyze partner economics, including publisher profitability, publisher overlap, and network revenue concentration
  • Generate and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Develop executive-ready analytical narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Help shape the Publisher Insights analytics roadmap
  • Convert recurring partner requests into scalable, standardized, increasingly automated solutions, including AI-assisted workflows
  • Contribute to thought leadership through point-of-view content and industry participation
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members
  • Review analytical work and conduct teach-outs
  • Monitor industry trends and standards in forecasting, attribution, measurement, and retail media analytics
  • Plan, execute, and deliver internal analytical projects within agreed timelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or decision science roles of increasing responsibility and impact
  • Experience in retail media, performance marketing, or digital advertising; retail or CPG industry experience is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
  • Deep partner-facing and consultative experience
  • Experience advising external partners
  • Proven ability to build compelling, insight-driven partner narratives
  • Expert visual and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to senior executive and C-suite audiences
  • Expertise in experimental and quasi-experimental design, including holdout tests, matched markets, difference-in-differences, and synthetic control
  • Deep knowledge of forecasting, measurement, and attribution models, including incrementality and marketing mix modeling (MMM)
  • Experience in forecasting and financial modeling at partner or business-unit level, including scenario planning and opportunity sizing
  • Experience analyzing partner or commercial economics
  • Experience with privacy-safe data collaboration, including data clean rooms
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Python, and BI platforms such as Looker or Tableau
  • Fluency with AI-assisted analytics and automation workflows
  • Experience with Git/GitHub, Databricks, and data pipeline tooling is a plus
  • Expertise in one or more partner business models, or ability to build it quickly
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and able to manage multiple complex partner engagements simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated cross-functional relationship-building success
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Must live in the United States
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
