About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the trusted analytics advisor to Ibotta's strategic publisher partners
  • Own analytics relationships with partner executives and build sustained partnerships
  • Build and own per-publisher and network-level scorecards and performance reporting
  • Define KPIs with Finance and Strategic Partner Management
  • Own analytical narratives for recurring publisher business reviews and deep dives
  • Lead partner-facing measurement, including tests, case studies, measurement models, and data clean room analyses
  • Forecast publisher performance and track contractual commitments such as minimum guarantees
  • Size opportunities for new partner capabilities and prospective publishers
  • Analyze publisher profitability, publisher overlap, and network revenue concentration
  • Generate and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Develop executive-ready analytical narratives for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Shape the Publisher Insights roadmap with Strategic Partner Management, Business Development, and Finance leadership
  • Turn recurring partner requests into scalable, standardized, and increasingly automated solutions, including AI-assisted analytics workflows
  • Author thought-leadership content and participate in industry conversations
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Publisher Insights team members
  • Monitor industry trends and standards in forecasting, attribution, measurement, and retail media analytics
  • Plan, execute, and deliver internal analytical projects within agreed timelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or decision science roles of increasing responsibility and impact
  • Analytical domain experience in retail media, performance marketing, or digital advertising
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
  • Deep partner-facing and consultative experience
  • Experience advising external partners and presenting at senior executive and C-suite levels
  • Expertise in experimental and quasi-experimental design, including holdout tests, matched markets, difference-in-differences, and synthetic control
  • Deep knowledge of forecasting, measurement, and attribution models, including incrementality and marketing mix modeling (MMM)
  • Experience in forecasting and financial modeling, scenario planning, and opportunity sizing
  • Experience analyzing partner or commercial economics, including revenue share, minimum guarantees, contract performance, and revenue concentration
  • Experience with privacy-safe data collaboration, such as data clean rooms
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Python, and BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Fluency with AI-assisted analytics and automation workflows
  • Experience with one or more partner business models, or ability to build this expertise quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple complex partner engagements simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Must live in the United States
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
