About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and oversee equity compensation programs, including stock grant options
  • Manage RSUs and ESPP programs
  • Maintain accurate records of equity grants, exercises, and vesting schedules
  • Prepare and distribute equity-related communications to employees
  • Maintain a stock management platform
  • Analyze stock market trends, company performance, and industry benchmarks
  • Assess the impact of economic, financial, and regulatory changes on stock and equity markets
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing the company's equity portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards related to stock and equity management
  • Prepare and file SEC filings and insider trading reports when applicable
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on compliance issues
  • Collaborate with legal and accounting departments to develop and implement equity compensation policies and guidelines
  • Partner with external financial institutions and brokers
  • Process benefits, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, distributions, loans, hardships, and compliance testing
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for employees, plan vendors, and third-party administrators for Ibotta's benefits programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
  • MBA or CFA is a plus
  • Certification preferred
  • Proven experience working with both private and publicly traded companies
  • Experience implementing a new stock management system is a plus
  • Experience with Workday is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of stock market dynamics, equity compensation plans, and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ethical and committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity
  • Experience with company benefit plans a plus
  • Must live in the United States
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
