About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver ground segments to Mission business customers
Provide technical support for satellite and ground segment systems
Analyze issues and solve technical problems
Perform planned maintenance and software upgrades for customer on-premise systems
Ensure ground segment systems reliably deliver satellite data and imagery
Proactively support and upgrade customer on-premise environments to maintain uninterrupted operations
Resolve technical issues rapidly to minimize downtime and protect mission-critical services
Build customer trust through responsive technical support and seamless deployments
Collaborate across teams to refine operational processes and drive continuous improvement
Deploy ICEYE software, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of professional experience focused on deployment, configuration, and operational management of software services, particularly within Kubernetes
Experience taking technical responsibility for a high-availability service
Excellent spoken and written English
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Exceptional troubleshooting skills across hardware, networking, vSphere, Linux, Kubernetes, and applications
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation after 6 months of onboarding
Experience with Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher, Helm, VMware, Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, Go, OpenBao/Vault, Grafana, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and REST APIs
Employment subject to applicable security screening, including SUPO and NATO-level security clearance where required
