About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver complex Satellite Mission programs end-to-end on time, within budget, and to agreed performance standards
Build and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships and act as the primary interface throughout program execution
Support Customer Success Management activities
Establish and drive program plans covering scope, milestones, resources, and financials
Identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and escalations
Orchestrate cross-functional execution across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams
Support scalable program management practices that improve delivery reliability and efficiency
Establish reporting structures and communication channels for timely, accurate information flow
Coordinate stakeholders, program team members, and senior leadership
Travel to customer sites as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–10 years’ experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs in advanced technology environments (e.g. space, defence, telecom, automotive, IT)
Strong customer-facing capability, including managing senior stakeholders and complex requirements
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver aligned outcomes
Expertise in end-to-end program management across scope, schedule, budget, and risk
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in uncertain environments
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Proven Customer Success capabilities
Degree in business, engineering, or a related field
Must have or be able to get Japanese security clearance
Native-level Japanese and English at minimum professional proficiency
Nice to have: satellite or similarly complex system program experience
Nice to have: governmental or defense customer experience
Nice to have: hardware, software, or embedded systems development knowledge
Nice to have: product development environment experience
Nice to have: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
