About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Receive, unload, move, stage, and load materials within the warehouse
- Verify product quantities, SKU numbers, lot/batch numbers, and labels before movement or shipment
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and inventory transactions
- Perform inventory movements and maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory discrepancy investigations
- Conduct visual inspections to identify damaged or non-conforming materials
- Ensure materials are quality released before transfer or shipment
- Maintain product traceability and warehouse organization
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
- Work across warehouse and office environments
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Customer Service, and Transportation teams to support production requirements, product traceability, and customer shipments
- Work Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience in manufacturing or similar industry
- Forklift operating experience and ability to maintain forklift certification
- Ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- Ability to interpret work instructions, inventory records, and shipping documents
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn an ERP and inventory systems
- Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and operating material handling equipment
- Current forklift certification (preferred)
- 3+ year in a manufacturing, chemical, or distribution environment (preferred)
- Experience with inventory management processes, including cycle counting and reconciliation (preferred)
- 1+ year of ERP system experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not provided; candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible
