About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop strategic patient recruitment and retention recommendations to aid clinical trial teams in executing clinical studies within proposed timelines
- Serve as expert consultant to project teams for projects needing recruitment and retention support
- Manage the scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other activities of assigned projects
- Serve as primary project contact for Patient Recruitment and Retention programs with sponsors
- Maintain communication channels and adherence to reporting schedules
- Select and manage recruitment and retention vendors
- Coordinate strategy-related project activities for study teams and sponsors to confirm project milestones are met
- Maintain knowledge of current and innovative recruitment trends, vendors, and technologies
- Leverage internal and external intelligence to support and refine strategies
- Support continued process improvement to maintain organizational quality
- Travel approximately 10% for client meetings and Investigator Meetings, including possible domestic or international travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a medicine, pharmacy, nursing or biological science
- At least 3 years of career experience including 2 years in the conduct of clinical trials
- Knowledge in business process analytics and continuous improvement highly preferred
- Pharma and/or CRO experience highly preferred
- Feasibility Experience required
- Patient recruitment strategy planning experience at site and country level
- Oncology clinical research background experience required
- Analytical skills and ability to synthesize data
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Robust analytical skills and ability to synthesize data and differing points of view to navigate to an evidence-based data-driven solution
- Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Superior presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks to execution and contribute to planned solutions
- Computer skills including proficiency in aspects of data analysis and presentation software, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a matrix environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
