About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead or support cross-functional groups in identifying business requirements for content modelling and reuse
- Navigate changing external and internal environments and lead others through change

Requirements
What you’ll need- Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including clinical development and the prescription drug distribution process
- Familiarity with document types used in drug development, including Clinical Protocols, Clinical Study Reports, Investigator Brochures, and Submission Documents
- Experience with document development and understanding of the roles of different functions in developing documents
- Extensive experience with MS Word
- Familiarity with industry standards related to document content
- Previous experience with SCM tools is helpful but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions, regions, and cultures
- Functional-level leadership ability to inspire, motivate, and drive results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to distill complex issues and ideas into simple, comprehensible terms
- Effective team-player skills and ability to engender credibility and confidence
- Ability to work in a global ecosystem with a high degree of complexity
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience is required
- 4+ years of experience as a medical writer or editor in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience
- Experience with a variety of software
- Familiarity with basic concepts of information storage and retrieval
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work groups
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, complete tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and high-level expertise with MS Word
- Familiarity with GCP and ICH standards and guidelines
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
