About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead medical affairs delivery across the portfolio, setting standards and developing the team
  • Provide strategic medical leadership and guidance on project teams
  • Offer expert medical and scientific consultation throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in medical and safety monitoring activities
  • Review medical data on the indication, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and other medical issues to achieve project deliverables
  • Represent the Medical Affairs Department in business development initiatives, investigator meetings, and project kick-off meetings
  • Provide operational oversight within the Medical Affairs Department as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Neurology required
  • Board Certified in Neurology
  • Proven track record of medical leadership and consultation within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries or CRO space preferred
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical standards in clinical research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the department effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to provide operational management in the absence of senior management
  • Experience working with phase II-III studies either in industry or as an investigator is highly preferred
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
