About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct complex laboratory analyses and tests to support clinical trials and research studies
- Take ownership of scientific operations deliverables and apply expertise to complex challenges
- Perform advanced laboratory tests and analyses according to SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Oversee laboratory operations, including sample processing, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures
- Collaborate with clinical research teams to support study design and implement laboratory methods
- Interpret and validate test results, provide technical expertise, and troubleshoot laboratory issues
- Train and mentor junior laboratory staff
- Develop and implement laboratory protocols
- Assist with audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating adherence to laboratory standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or laboratory science
- Extensive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance processes
- Proven ability to perform complex laboratory tests and analyses, with expertise in specific areas of medical technology
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and ethical practices in laboratory operations
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
